NEW POLL: Dems Take Commanding 11 POINT Lead in Race For House

Trump approval rating hits SECOND TERM LOW

Donald Trump is at his lowest rating yet, according to a new poll from the New York Times and Siena. Despite an overwhelming majority of Americans turning against Republican rule in D.C., vulnerable House Republicans are still rubber stamps to his extreme agenda, which the American people hate.

According to the poll, a majority of voters say Trump’s war of choice in the Middle East is not worth the costs and hold pessimistic views about the economy. Overall, just 37% of Americans approve of his handling of the presidency.

Even worse for the vulnerable Republicans in swing districts: Democrats are up 11 points on the generic ballot among REGISTERED voters, 5 points higher since January. Independents prefer Democrats to Republicans by a stunning 18 points.

Last week, NBC News reported that vulnerable House Republicans are privately afraid to bring Donald Trump on the campaign trail due to his sinking approval and complaining that NRCC branding their GOP candidates the “MAGA Majority” is a mistake.

DCCC Spokesperson Justin Chermol
“Just under 6 months out from the midterms, it’s clear Democrats have the message, momentum, and grassroots mobilization to win back the House in November. This new poll is another of many proof points that Democrats are able to win in deep-red terrain and ensures Trump’s gerrymandering scheme will backfire – badly.”
