New polling shows a bleak future for Republicans as their health care cuts, reckless tariffs, and price hikes are causing the party to bleed Latino support. Latino voters will determine control of the House, and they’re strongly favoring Democrats in battleground districts. In key battleground states (Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, North Carolina, New Mexico, Nevada, Texas, and Wisconsin):
- Democrats hold a +15 margin, and they lead in the generic ballot by +20.
- Republicans in Congress have abysmal favorability (-23).
- Latino voters blame Republicans’ policies on tariffs, new wars, and tax cuts for the wealthy for the rising costs.
- Democrats are 47% more trusted on health care and 44% more trusted on jobs and the economy.
DCCC Spokesperson Bridget Gonzalez:
“The Republican affordability crisis and their long list of broken promises have decimated the party’s Latino support. Voters are rightfully blaming Republicans for the out-of-control cost of living, and Republicans are on a clear losing streak for the midterms.” |
