NEW POLL: Latino Voters Don’t Trust Republicans

“Among Latino voters, Democrats have a 61% to 31% lead on the generic ballot”

Another day and another terrible poll for the Republican trifecta. The latest reporting shows that Latino and Hispanic voters largely disapprove of this Republican administration’s handling of all major issues, including border security, public safety, immigration, ICE overreach, and the economy.

More key points from the ThirdWay data:

  • Republicans in Congress only have a 34% favorability rating.
  • Democrats hold a 22-point advantage with Latino men.
  • Democrats are trusted more than Republicans on every issue.
  • 62% of Latinos blame Republicans for the DHS shutdown and for failing to reform ICE.

The data reflects how American families have suffered the consequences of Republicans’ highly unpopular Big, Ugly Bill that prioritized tax cuts for the ultra-wealthy, slashed funding for health care, and made everyday life unaffordable.

DCCC Spokesperson Bridget Gonzalez:
“Latino voters are done putting up with Republicans’ lies and broken promises. Everything is more expensive, and Republicans are only focused on saying yes to all of Trump’s erratic whims — a big mistake that will cost them the House.”
