| New AP-NORC polling shows what we all already know: Americans hate Republicans’ disastrous economy.
The numbers speak for themselves:
- 6 in 10 adults say the economy and country are worse off than two years ago
- 7 in 10 feel that the president’s handling of the cost of living is worse than expected, including 52% of Republicans
- 71% of adults disapprove of how Trump is handling Iran and 69% say the war in Iran has not been worth fighting
- 73% say the country it heading the wrong direction
Whether it’s the president’s price-hiking tariffs or his reckless war in Iran, hardworking Americans are paying the price for Republicans’ countless broken promises. But don’t take our word for it. 54% of Americans say Trump doesn’t even try to keep his promises to voters. Ouch.
