Democrats have a 14-point advantage among independents
Democrats are fired up for the midterms according to a new Reuters/Ipsos poll that gives them a 9-point enthusiasm advantage over Republicans.
The numbers are terrible news for House Republicans, who have staked their fate on turning out the Republican base in November.
71% of Americans disapprove of Trump’s handling of cost of living, including four in 10 Republicans.
DCCC Spokesperson Liam Buckley: “Democrats are fired up and the GOP’s midterm strategy to make the midterms a referendum on Trump is looking worse and worse by the day. Voters are ready to turn the page on House Republicans’ broken promises and elect Democrats to the House Majority.”
