Democrats are up 43 points among Hispanic voters, according to polling from The New York Times/Siena. The 40-point leftward swing compared to 2024 is a political earthquake borne out of Republican broken promises on the economy, cost of living, and immigration.
Hispanic voters have outsized influence over this year’s midterms after Republicans gerrymandered their districts to match Trump’s 2024 performance, when he lost Hispanic voters by 3-points.
A 40-point swing would be cataclysmic for House Republicans, whose gerrymander looks more and more like a dummymander.
DCCC Spokesperson Bridget Gonzalez:
“Republicans have failed the Latino community with their broken promises. They’ve done everything but deliver on lowering costs, paving the way for Democrats to take back the House and actually fight for the American people.”
