| Voters will punish House Republicans like Tom Barrett and Bill Huizenga if they fail to extend the ACA tax credits before they expire at the end of the year, according to a new poll from KFF.
The poll also found 58% of people with health insurance from the Affordable Care Act would not be able to afford a $300 increase in premium.
REMINDER: If the health care tax credits expire, 23,000 people in MI-07 will see their premiums increase by 61% and 29,000 people in MI-04 will see their premiums increase by 77%.
DCCC Spokesperson Katie Smith:
“The clock is ticking for Tom Barrett and Bill Huizenga to take action on fixing the Republican health care crisis, but they are refusing to act. Michiganders know who to blame for incoming skyrocketing costs and Barrett and Huizenga will be held accountable for their cruelty next year.” |
