NEW POLLING: AANHPI Americans Sound the Alarm on the Economy

Democrats hold a “trust advantage” with AANHPI voters

New polling from Navigator Research shows that AANHPI Americans are increasingly concerned about the cost of living and direction of the economy under the Republican trifecta. Nearly eight in ten Asian Americans rate the economy as “poor” or “not so good” and three in four feel the country is on the wrong track.

Read key findings from the poll:

  • AANHPI adults are deeply impacted by rising costs and have soured on the economy; they are ten points more likely to rate the economy negatively.
  • AANHPI adults do not feel that Trump and Republicans in Congress are focused on the right priorities like health care and the cost of living.
  • They disapprove of Trump’s handling of key issues and deeply oppose the illegal war in Iran.

REMINDER: AANHPI adults are one of the fastest-growing groups in the country. They have also staunchly disapproved of Republicans’ unlawful ICE enforcement and cruel immigration policies while living costs continue to explode for working families.

DCCC National AANHPI Engagement Director Sujan Sedhai:
“Across the board, Americans are suffering because of Republicans’ policies and broken promises. Americans can’t afford the high prices caused by tariffs, the increasing cost of health care, and their voting rights are under attack. The American people don’t trust Republican leadership, and they’re ready to send them packing in November.”
