NEW POLLING: The House Republican Agenda to Cut Taxes for the Ultra Wealthy and Raise Health Care Costs is Still Deeply Unpopular

House Republicans’ agenda is growing more unpopular with voters across the country as they hear about the GOP’s plans to raise costs on working families, give massive handouts to the ultra wealthy, and take away people’s health care.

New polling from Navigator Research is painting a clear picture of how much voters oppose these plans as campaigns head into the final three weeks before Election Day:

• House Republicans have proposed a “full repeal” of the Inflation Reduction Act prescription drug caps.

  • 88% of voters support Democrats’ efforts to cut prescription drugs costs by letting Medicare negotiate lower prices.

• House Republicans would let critical ACA subsidies expire.

  • 78% of voters support extending health care subsidies to help Americans pay for health insurance.

• House Republicans have pledged to extend their GOP Tax Scam if they were to hold their majority.

  • 56% of voters oppose the 2017 Tax Law, and a plurality of voters believe the plan was best described as “tax cuts for the rich and big corporations.”
