NEW: Rep. Scott Perry Smears Federal Law Enforcement Agencies As Filled With “Anti-American” Agents

Perry has a long record of insulting law enforcement and military members
Congressman Scott Perry has a new conspiracy theory: That our federal law enforcement agencies are filled with “anti-American” insurgents.

Speaking on The Chris Stigall Show, Perry smeared our nation’s law enforcement officials, saying in part:

“I imagine the FBI, the CIA, the Department of Defense, and every other single agency under the sun that you can think of is still replete with, you know, anti-American, left-wing insurgents that have been placed in there.”

Perry’s comments are the latest in a longstanding pattern of disparaging law enforcement officials and even American servicemembers and veterans.

Reminder: Perry was the only member of Pennsylvania’s congressional delegation – Republican or Democrat – to vote against honoring police officers who were assaulted and injured while protecting our nation’s Capitol. And Perry faced backlash after he said that military members and veterans who don’t share his politics only chose to serve to “get the credential and then they run for office,” and that “they don’t support America.”

“Congressman Scott Perry is so extreme that he thinks law enforcement agencies who work to keep Pennsylvania communities safe are filled with ‘anti-American’ agents. Perry’s pattern of disparaging law enforcement and servicemembers is despicable.”
