| A new investigative report from Popular Information directly links the shadowy “Lead Left PAC” to Speaker Mike Johnson’s Congressional Leadership Fund (CLF).
According to the report, CLF’s own treasurer, Caleb Crosby, is directly tied to Lead Left PAC – an outfit that spent $1 million to boost Maureen Galindo in TX-35. Galindo is a dangerous extremist who publicly campaigned on and expressed support for “castrating and imprisoning ‘American Zionists.’”
Not only is this a gross abuse of Republican resources in a district they gerrymandered to be ‘safe,’ it is a deeply cynical, disgusting political ploy to weaponize abhorrent antisemitism.
Popular Information’s explosive findings follow recent reporting from Punchbowl News, which first uncovered that Lead Left was operating directly through the GOP’s digital fundraising platform, WinRed.
