A new report shows just how devastating David Schweikert, Eli Crane, Juan Ciscomani, and House Republicans’ Tax Scam would be for Arizonans’ wallets:
- Arizona households would pay $1.6 billion more in increased energy bills over the next decade, with the average Arizonan paying nearly $500 more – a 12% hike – each year.
- Arizona would lose 22,800 jobs in 2030 and 27,200 jobs in 2035.
- State GDP would shrink by $38 billion over the next 10 years.
These increased costs, lost jobs, and economic shock are in addition to the 342,000 Arizonans who will lose their health insurance under Schweikert, Crane, and Ciscomani’s plan.
