A new report shows just how devastating Ann Wagner and House Republicans’ Tax Scam would be for Missourians’ wallets:
- Missouri households would pay $2.1 billion more in increased energy bills over the next decade, with the average Missourian paying over $800 more – a 14% hike – each year.
- Missouri would lose 16,300 jobs in 2030 and 37,400 jobs in 2035.
- State GDP would shrink by $27 billion over the next 10 years.
These increased costs, lost jobs, and economic shock are in addition to the 250,000 Missourians who will lose their health insurance under Wagner’s plan.
