AZ Republic: “More than 300,000 Arizonans would lose their health insurance” under Schweikert, Crane, and Ciscomani’s plan
New reporting from the Arizona Republic shows that vulnerable Republicans David Schweikert, Eli Crane, and Juan Ciscomani are on track to rip health care away from more than 300,000 Arizonans. Schweikert, Crane, and Ciscomani’s plan would enact the largest cuts to Medicaid in history to fund permanent tax cuts for the ultra-wealthy.
DCCC Spokesperson Lindsay Reilly:
“David Schweikert, Eli Crane, and Juan Ciscomani seem more interested in satisfying Republican Party bosses and ultra-wealthy donors than fighting for Arizonans. Their plan would crush Medicaid, undermine hospitals, and hurt vulnerable seniors and kids. Voters won’t forget that their so-called representatives are siding with billionaire donors over Arizona families.”
