Fourth DCCC TV Ad in MO-02 Slams Wagner for Being the Epitome of a Washington Politician
The DCCC is up with its fourth TV ad in Missouri’s Second Congressional District, “Blend,” which begins airing today in the St. Louis media market on broadcast and cable. “Blend” makes clear that former professional Republican party fundraiser, Ambassador to Luxembourg, and Congresswoman Ann Wagner’s priorities lie with the special interests who she takes money from, not Missourians.
Statement from DCCC Spokesperson Courtney Rice:
“Congresswoman Ann Wagner blends in perfectly in the Washington swamp: she takes special interest money from the drug and insurance industry and votes their way. No wonder the St. Louis Post-Dispatch said she ‘stinks of swamp politics.’”
Previous ads in this district include “World,” which exposes Wagner for self-enrichment on the taxpayer’s dime, and “Two Phones” and “Waiting,” which remind voters that Wagner will always side with the big corporations and special interests that fund her campaign over them.

Narrator:
In a crowd of Washington Politicians, Ann Wagner blends right in. You just have to look closely.
Her campaign took 1.3 million dollars from the drug and insurance industry…
She voted to let those insurance companies drop our coverage for pre-existing conditions…
Leaving 230,000 of us with no health coverage….
Wagner even voted against lower drug prices
Yeah, when you look closely…it’s clear Ann Wagner represents them. Not Missouri.
