NEW VIDEO: Bob Burns’ Ridiculous Abortion Ban Lie

Bob Burns is a liar.

Recently on New Hampshire Today, Burns claimed in the same breath that he opposes abortion bans and also that he supports a radical fetal heartbeat bill that would override New Hampshire’s state law protecting the right to choose:

“I’ve never said that I was for an abortion ban. I talked about having a fetal heartbeat bill.”

Who does Burns think he’s kidding? He supports banning abortion and even said he was “100 percent pro-life, from conception”:

• WMUR: “I think a good step Congress can take would be to pass a federal fetal heartbeat law, which would ban abortion at the point of a detectable heartbeat.”

• WMUR: “There’s no reason to have something [an abortion] after the fetal heartbeat.”

  • Q: “You’re strongly pro-life, and you would support a fetal heartbeat bill at the federal level which is essentially a ban on abortion after six weeks. Isn’t that a little out of step with most of the voters in CD 2?”

BURNS: “No, I don’t think so.”

BURNS: “Correct. Absolutely.”
