After David Valadao, Trump, and House Republicans’ tariffs forced Americans to pay thousands of dollars a year more per family for everyday goods, new reporting from the New York Times finds that little of that money will be returned to consumers, even as the Trump administration is refunding businesses.
It’s no wonder that a whopping 70% of voters disapprove of Trump’s handling of the economy, and that Democrats have surpassed Republicans for the party voters trust more on the economy.
REMINDER: David Valadao is a rubber stamp for this calamity. He has voted repeatedly to protect price-hiking tariffs that are harming the Central Valley’s agricultural economy, farmers, and ranchers.
