After months of working against the best interests of New Yorkers, vulnerable New York Republican Marc Molinaro’s tight-knit MAGA ties continue to be exposed.
While the GOP’s chaotic speaker fight continues, Molinaro has made it abundantly clear that he would rather side with far-right extremist and anti-New Yorker Jim Jordan than listen to New York’s 19th Congressional District – no matter how hard he tries to expunge his support for the Donald Trump-endorsed speaker candidate.

They’ve been in recess for (much) of the time since the summer, but when they are voting, [Marc Molinaro is] voting against upstate New Yorkers, and he’s voting in favor of his party bosses and corporate donors.

One of the first votes he took was to reward oil companies that are engaged in price gouging against consumers in upstate New York who are still paying too much for gas.

He voted for a cut to consumer protection agencies that are supposed to look out for upstate New Yorkers. An 8% cut for border security, all of those votes are against the interests of upstate New Yorkers and the only people they help are Marc Molinaro and his donors and party bosses.

Marc Molinaro voted for Jim Jordan, who is a right-wing extremist, who supports a national abortion ban with no exceptions for rape or the life of the mother, who was one of Donald Trump’s biggest allies in trying to overturn the 2020 election, who has never passed a single piece of legislation, and it makes you wonder why would anybody in their right mind do that?

He’s bankrolled by the utility monopolies and by the big oil companies and by Elise Stefanik. And so it’s no surprise he goes to Congress and he does what they want him to do.

Nineteenth Congressional District Representative Marc Molinaro has twice voted for extremist Jim Jordan for House Speaker! Jim Jordan — a supporter of the Jan. 6 insurrection, who personally leads the phony “investigations” of President Biden and the Justice Department. Jordan’s extreme non-policies against women and human rights would be a disaster as speaker.

Molinaro consistently votes with the MAGA team, but still hopes he fools us with his glib talk of “moderate.”

Molinaro, before voting: “Most people I represent wouldn’t know the speaker of the house if they backed over them with a pickup truck,” he said. An attitude of disdain and insult towards his constituents, couldn’t be more evident, which is why he doesn’t care about a moderate and fairer assessment of who we are.

It is our citizen privilege and opportunity to get it right with good people who respect and honor the people they represent. Marc Molinaro isn’t one of them.
