Nick Begich Votes To Rubberstamp Price-Spiking War of Choice – AGAIN

As Alaska families are paying more in high gas prices, Begich votes AGAIN for higher costs

With diesel prices at all-time highs, Alaska gas prices at $5 a gallonover $10 in rural parts of the state – and grocery prices rising through the roof, Nick Begich voted to allow the war in Iran to continue and ignore rising costs. The war has cost taxpayers nearly $40 billion and fueled inflation.

Last night’s vote is the latest indicator of how out of touch Begich is from Alaskans on an issue that is 20 points underwater.

In ceding all War Powers authority, Begich is reminding everyday Alaskans that he doesn’t work for the hardworking families that he was elected to represent, he just does what his party bosses in Washington tell him to.

DCCC Spokesperson Anna Elsasser:
“Nick Begich is once again proving that he doesn’t care about Alaska families struggling with rising costs. He would rather put a reckless war in Iran ahead of the needs of everyday Alaskans. Voters know Begich is responsible for making their lives more expensive, and they’ll vote him out.”
