House Republicans “absolutely” want to repeal existing laws that lower prescription drug prices
Nick LaLota and House Republicans have honed in on one of their closing messages with less than fifty days to go until Election Day: make medicine more expensive.
LaLota and House Republicans continue to make it clear that they “absolutely” want to repeal the Inflation Reduction Act and raise prescription drug costs for seniors and families, following in Project 2025 and LaLota’s Republican Study Committee’s footsteps.
Not a single House Republican voted for this law, and LaLota opposed it.
DCCC Spokesperson Ellie Dougherty:
“Nick LaLota wants to make medicine more expensive for Suffolk County families. Somehow, LaLota’s party found an even less compelling message to run on seven weeks out from Election Day.”
