Vulnerable New York Republican Nick LaLota caved to MAGA extremists today and voted to continue playing political games, this time in the form of an illegitimate impeachment inquiry. Despite months of goose-chasing, they have yet to produce a single scrap of evidence.
Working families on Long Island aren’t interested in a sham impeachment and playing politics at the behest of Donald Trump and Marjorie Taylor Greene. As a reminder, nearly 7 out of 10 voters in battleground districts said Republicans in Congress have prioritized the wrong things.

“This sham impeachment inquiry is nothing more than a cheap, cynical stunt by Nick LaLota and MAGA Republicans to distract the public from the fact that they are doing nothing to help working families. With today’s vote, LaLota just told Long Islanders that delivering for them doesn’t matter as much as doing Donald Trump’s bidding.”
