Donald Trump said he is open to restricting or banning birth control, saying when asked by a Pittsburgh TV station if he supports any restrictions on contraception: “We’re looking at that, and I’m going to have a policy on that very shortly, and I think it’s something that you’ll find interesting. I think it’s a smart decision. But we’ll be releasing it very soon.”
The Republican frontrunner for president has previously celebrated his “miracle” efforts to overturn Roe v. Wade and proposed a national abortion ban.
With Trump’s latest foreshadowing, LaLota – who has endorsed the four-time indicted former president – and his extreme Republican majority now have the green light to continue targeting access to birth control as well.
