Rarely if we ever do we quote Republican challengers in our releases. But in this case, we will make an exception.
In his announcement statement today, Assemblyman Erik Peterson attacked DC-selected Tom Kean Jr. for being, “an establishment Republican who will do whatever the establishment tells him to do.”
This comes a week after another GOP primary challenger, Pastor Phil Rizzo called Kean Jr. a, “hack, establishment politician who expects this seat to be handed to him.”
Kean Jr., who reports have said “deftly avoided questions” on pressing issues now can’t avoid the truth – he’s in for a brawl of a primary and he can’t hide any longer.
