The Republican National Committee declared January 6th “legitimate political discourse.”
Now, Tom Kean Jr. endorser and donor Rep. Elise Stefanik has attempted to answer the question Tom Kean Jr. has hid from for days – does she agree with the RNC’s decision to censure Reps. Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger and accuse them of “persecution of ordinary citizens engaged in legitimate political discourse” by working to investigate the January 6th Capitol riot?
Her response: defend the RNC censure. “My reaction is the RNC has every right to take any action…the position that I have is that you’re ultimately held accountable to the voters in your district.”
Stefanik is correct on one thing – voters will ultimately hold politicians accountable, including Tom Kean Jr.
Ask Tom Kean Jr. if he agrees that the lawless violence of January 6th was legitimate political discourse.
