NJ PBS Highlights Republican Infighting & Recruitment Woes in NJ-09

NJ PBS: “Republicans are already behind in a district they’ve had trouble recruiting in”

Things are not going well for Republicans in New Jersey’s 9th Congressional District.

New reporting from NJ PBS is highlighting how Republicans are having “trouble recruiting” in the district… all while the current primary field continues to get testy.

Billy Prempeh takes a shot at Rosemary Pino, after reporting from the New Jersey Globe revealed that Pino and her group literally endorsed Congresswoman Nellie Pou and called her “the best candidate to represent us in Washington, D.C.” and said that “Nellie Pou has always fought for us, and now it’s time for us to stand with her.”

Republicans are already behind in a district where they’ve had trouble recruiting.

The most recent name to surface was that of Clifton Councilwoman Rosemary Pino […]

Pino didn’t respond to an interview request, but her primary opponent [Billy Prempeh] pointed out that Pino’s group endorsed Nellie Pou for Congress last year.
