A new report from Heartland Signal calls out Republican candidate Rob Bresnahan for insulting the district he’s running to represent.
During a meet and greet in Wayne County last month, Bresnahan “denounced the district’s biggest city, Scranton, saying it ‘is not what we are.”
Bresnahan has made it clear that he’s running not to represent northeastern Pennsylvanians, but to represent extremists in the House — pledging his loyalty to Speaker Mike Johnson and Republican leadership’s agenda that cuts taxes for the ultra-wealthy, while gutting Social Security and Medicare.
DCCC Spokesperson Aidan Johnson:
“It’s insulting, but not surprising, that Rob Bresnahan is already degrading the people he aims to represent. Bresnahan only answers to Speaker Mike Johnson and the out-of-touch corporate special interests trying to buy this seat for one of their own.”
