With a deeply unpopular tax bill, a looming trade war, and an erratic Republican President in the White House, House Republicans are letting the pressure show. Shockingly, NRCC Chairman Steve Stivers launched a blistering personal attack on retiring Rep. Ryan Costello, saying that he lacks “intestinal fortitude”.
“The latest announcement came last week from Rep. Ryan Costello, of Pennsylvania, who cited the “political landscape” as a factor in his retirement.
