NY-01 GOP Primary Getting Messy

Things are getting messy in the GOP primary in NY-01.

As Nick LaLota hits Michelle Bond for her multi-million dollar mansion home in Maryland, Bond is calling out LaLota as a career politician who raised property taxes on Long Islanders.

Whichever one of them makes it out of this primary is clearly going to be dragging baggage along with them to the general.

Here are what Republican voters are seeing:

The GOP candidates are sending one message loud and clear to Long Island voters: Neither is remotely electable, especially in a match-up against Democratic nominee and County Legislator Bridget Fleming, who has a proven record of delivering for Long Island.
