The path back to the House majority runs straight through Pennsylvania
New polling from The New York Times/Philadelphia Inquirer/Siena shows that Democrats are in position to flip four key toss up seats in Pennsylvania on our path back to the House majority.
The New York Times reports: “Taken together, the findings in the races for the four seats amount to another warning sign for a Republican Party that is increasingly at risk of losing its narrow House majority.”
Ominous warning signs for Republicans from the poll include:
Voters favor Democrats on addressing ‘corruption’ and ‘cost of living’ across all four districts;
Trump is deeply underwater, with a 39 percent overall approval rating across all four districts;
Shapiro is ahead by a staggering 18 points across all four districts.
DCCC Spokesperson Eli Cousin: “We’ve said all cycle long that Democrats’ path back to the House majority runs straight through flipping four seats in Pennsylvania. Republican Congressmen Brian Fitzpatrick, Ryan Mackenzie, Rob Bresnahan, and Scott Perry have sent costs soaring and become part of the corruption in Washington that is costing Pennsylvania families. Bob Harvie, Bob Brooks, Paige Cognetti, and Janelle Stelson are S-tier candidates on the doorstep of victory. We’re keeping our foot on the gas.”
