Trio of Trump’s Congressional Protectors – Reps. McCarthy, Jordan and Meadows – Dismiss the Voters in Big Sky Country and Choose Maryland Matt for Montana
Despite being a twice-failed GOP candidate in a contested 4-way primary, Maryland real estate developer Matt Rosendale has now received the official blessing of the House GOP and Trump’s lead Congressional protectors: Minority Leader McCarthy and Tea Party Leaders Reps. Jordan and Meadows.
Rosendale heralded the endorsements of these three Trump-Conservatives, saying: “These three leaders are the front line of defense,” in support of Trump and he is, “honored to have received their support.”
At the same time, Rosendale has received over $150,000 in contributions this cycle routed through Washington, D.C. special interest groups Club for Growth PAC and House Freedom Fund.
“From his past failures running for Congress and Senate, ‘Maryland’ Matt has shown that he’d rather suck up to Republicans in the Washington swamp than focus on the issues that matter to Montanans like protecting health care for those with preexisting conditions or honoring Montana’s deep heritage of protecting their public lands,” said DCCC Spokesperson Andy Orellana. “But the Washington GOP Swamp can’t save Rosendale, Montana voters rejected Maryland Matt in 2014 and 2018 and will do so again in 2020.”
