In the midst of a messy and expensive primary, Republicans in Ohio’s 9th Congressional District “are at a disadvantage” due to their lackluster fundraising. With a crowded field, the eventual nominee is going to have to spend big in what failed 2022 GOP nominee J.R. Majewski has promised will be a “brutal” primary season.
Majewski is already attacking one of his opponents as a “Country Club Conservative” who “would get lost in Toledo” and has “no chance” of beating him.

“Despite Kevin McCarthy and GOP insiders’ best efforts, the OH-09 Republican primary is yet again one of the messiest and most extreme races in the entire country. Whoever survives will be broke and at a significant disadvantage after burning a hole in their pocket putting their dangerous views and harmful policies on full display.”
