14 years after the passage of the Affordable Care Act, Zach Nunn and his party continue to follow dangerous calls to “terminate” coverage for 111,423 Iowans, including some of the 466,000 with pre-existing conditions who would likely be denied coverage without the ACA’s protections.
Just this week, Nunn refused to tell Iowans if he’d repeal the ACA on the same day the Republican Study Committee, which Nunn is a part of, released a plan to gut the ACA and privatize Medicare.
In the Iowa state legislature, Nunn even voted to undermine the ACA and threaten coverage for Iowans with pre-existing conditions.
Nunn will do everything he can to take away this critical coverage.
DCCC Spokesperson Mallory Payne:
“For 14 years, Iowans have had access to quality health care thanks to the Affordable Care Act. Zach Nunn and his party are fixated on repealing this law, putting hundreds of thousands of Iowans, including those with pre-existing conditions, at risk of being denied coverage. Nunn’s failure to stand up for Iowans once again will cost him at the ballot box.”
