On the 16th Anniversary of the ACA, Anna Paulina Luna, Cory Mills, and Laurel Lee Are To Blame For Florida Families Facing Rising Health Care Costs

Now premiums are higher and affordable options are shrinking, leaving many families in Florida paying more each month or forgoing coverage entirely.

A majority of Americans blame Republicans for rising health care costs, and many families are already feeling the impact in their day to day lives. According to recent reporting, ACA enrollees are cutting back on basics like food and utilities just to keep up with their monthly health care costs.

“Today’s anniversary is a reminder that Anna Paulina Luna, Cory Mills, and Laurel Lee handed a massive health care tax hike to hardworking families across Florida. By failing to extend the ACA tax credits, Luna, Mills, and Lee have effectively forced people to choose between paying for basic needs like rent or groceries or going to see a doctor. Floridians are being priced out of being able to get the health care they need; Voters will remember how these vulnerable Republicans betrayed and lied to them when they head to the polls this November.”
