| On the sixteenth anniversary of the Affordable Care Act, hardworking Arizona families are reeling from skyrocketing health care costs after Juan Ciscomani and Eli Crane voted against extending ACA tax credits.
Now premiums are higher and affordable options are shrinking, leaving many families in Arizona paying more each month or forgoing coverage entirely.
A majority of Americans blame Republicans for rising health care costs, and many families are already feeling the impact in their day to day lives. According to recent reporting, ACA enrollees are cutting back on basics like food and utilities just to keep up with their monthly health care costs.
DCCC Spokesperson Lindsay Reilly:
“Juan Ciscomani and Eli Crane hiked health care costs for hardworking families across Arizona to pay for tax cuts for billionaires. By failing to extend the ACA tax credits, Ciscomani and Crane have effectively forced people to choose between paying for basic needs like rent or groceries or going to see a doctor. Arizonans are being priced out of their own care, and they’ll remember Ciscomani and Crane are responsible for these skyrocketing bills when they head to the polls in November.” |
