On the 16th anniversary of the Affordable Care Act becoming law, hardworking NEPA families are reeling from skyrocketing health care costs because of Congressman Rob Bresnahan.
Bresnahan voted for the so-called Big Beautiful Bill and failed to extend the ACA tax credits. Now premiums are higher and affordable options are shrinking, leaving many NEPA families left paying more or forgoing coverage entirely.
A majority of Americans blame Republicans for rising health care costs, and many families are already feeling the impact in their day to day lives. According to recent reporting, ACA enrollees are cutting back on basics like food and utilities just to keep up with their monthly health care costs.
DCCC Spokesperson Eli Cousin: “Today’s anniversary is a reminder that Congressman Rob Bresnahan has voted for devastating health care cuts and allowed costs to soar under his failed leadership in Washington. Pennsylvania families are being priced out of their own care while Bresnahan plays the stock market and looks out for his own bottom line. NEPA voters will remember that Bresnahan is responsible for these skyrocketing bills when they head to the polls in November.”
