On the 16th Anniversary of the ACA, Tom Kean Jr. Is To Blame For NJ Families Facing Rising Health Care Costs

On the 16th anniversary of the Affordable Care Act becoming law, hardworking New Jersey families are reeling from skyrocketing health care costs because of Congressman Tom Kean Jr.

Kean Jr. voted for the so-called Big Beautiful Bill and failed to extend the ACA tax credits. Now premiums are higher and affordable options are shrinking, leaving many families in New Jersey paying more or forgoing coverage entirely.

A majority of Americans blame Republicans for rising health care costs, and many families are already feeling the impact in their day to day lives. According to recent reporting, ACA enrollees are cutting back on basics like food and utilities just to keep up with their monthly health care costs.

DCCC Spokesperson Eli Cousin:
“Today’s anniversary is a reminder that career politician Tom Kean Jr. has spent his career undermining access to affordable health care. New Jersey families are being priced out of their own care, and they’ll remember that Kean Jr. is responsible for these skyrocketing bills when they head to the polls in November.”
