The DCCC released its fourth TV ad in PA-10, “Whose Side,” following the final debate between Eugene DePasquale and Congressman Scott Perry. “Whose Side” hammers Perry for prioritizing his corporate donors over South Central Pennsylvanians.
Whose side is Scott Perry on? Look at his voting record:
- Perry voted for the Republican tax giveaway that benefited large corporations and the wealthiest few at the expense of the middle class.
- But when Pennsylvanians were out of work and struggling, Perry voted against extending unemployment insurance.
- He clearly doesn’t understand – why else would he question “who’s living that they’re not going to make it to the next paycheck?”
The ad begins airing tomorrow in the Harrisburg media market on broadcast and cable.
“Scott Perry has no problem giving handouts to his corporate donors and the wealthiest few, but when hard-working Pennsylvanians needed help during the pandemic, Perry turned his back on them,” said DCCC Spokesperson Courtney Rice. “It’s clear whose side Scott Perry is on… and it’s not Pennsylvanians.”
This is the DCCC’s fourth TV ad in PA-10. The first ad, “Price Gouging,” highlights how Perry consistently prioritizes the drug and insurance industry that funds his campaign over South Central Pennsylvanians. The second ad, “Go Through,” takes Perry to task for cutting unemployment benefits, even during this pandemic. The third, “Why?” shines a light on the many votes Congressman Scott Perry has taken that threaten the health care of South Central Pennsylvanians, while taking $100,000 in campaign contributions from the drug and insurance industries.
