| Three years after Mariannette Miller-Meeks, Ashley Hinson, and Zach Nunn cheered on the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade and rip reproductive rights away from Iowans, the three continue to side with anti-abortion extremists over Iowa women.
Miller-Meeks, Hinson, and Nunn worked for years to strip away reproductive health care from Iowa women, and their anti-abortion records are perfectly clear:
- Miller-Meeks cosponsored the Life At Conception Act: a total nationwide abortion ban with no exceptions for rape, incest, or the woman’s life.
- Miller-Meeks voted to eliminate the right to an abortion entirely in Iowa and supported bills that would threaten access to abortion, IVF, and contraception.
- Hinson supports Iowa’s current abortion ban.
- Hinson cosponsored the Life At Conception Act: a total nationwide abortion ban with no exceptions for rape, incest, or the woman’s life.
- Nunn voted for Iowa’s near-total abortion ban.
- Nunn said he believes abortion should be illegal without exceptions and raised his hand in support of banning abortion nationwide with zero exceptions for rape, incest, or the life of the woman.
- Miller-Meeks, Hinson, and Nunn all voted for a backdoor effort to pressure states with established legal protections into gradually stripping away abortion rights.
