Today, Peter Meijer joined his fellow Republicans and voted to shut down the government, recklessly threatening our economy and risking critical government services.
If Peter Meijer had it his way, Michiganders who are employed by the federal government would be furloughed without pay, our national security would be at risk, and Michigan families who rely on federal benefits would be left on their own.
