In the year since Trump’s sweeping tariffs were announced, American families have paid more than $1,700 in higher costs, and businesses across the country have seen operating costs rise, profit margins, and scrambled to stay afloat amidst the chaos and catastrophe caused by Republicans.
As House Republicans refuse to do anything to lower costs for hardworking families, it’s a broken promise that is becoming one of the defining issues of the midterms.
With vulnerable House Republicans continuing to fall in line behind Donald Trump’s disastrous tariff policy, the DCCC has been consistently running multiple battlefield-wide paid campaigns framing the disastrous effects of Republicans’ reckless tariffs as another part of their broken promise to the American people.
