ONE YEAR AGO TODAY: Rep. Angie Craig Voted to Lower Costs, Create Jobs, and Spur Innovation

Today, Congresswoman Angie Craig and House Democrats are celebrating the one year anniversary of the bipartisan CHIPS and Science Act being signed into law. The CHIPS and Science Act is game-changing legislation that invests in America, creates good-paying union construction and manufacturing jobs, and ensures U.S. competitiveness with the Chinese Communist Party.

Thanks to Congresswoman Craig’s vote last year, the CHIPS and Science Act is:

  • Bringing semiconductor manufacturing back to the U.S. and reducing production delays.

  • Catalyzing regional economic growth across the nation.

  • Creating investments in STEM education and training from K-12 to community college, undergraduate and graduate education.

Congresswoman Craig is working tirelessly to create jobs, lower costs, and make sure the U.S. can compete with other countries.

DCCC spokesperson Mallory Payne:
“While MAGA Republicans have attempted to stonewall economic growth in order to advance an extreme agenda, the one year anniversary of the CHIPS and Science Act is a powerful reminder that Congresswoman Craig and House Democrats remain focused on issues important to Minnesotans like cutting costs and creating jobs.”
