ONE YEAR AGO TODAY: Rep. Susan Wild Voted to Lower Costs, Create Jobs, and Spur Innovation

Today, Rep. Susan Wild and House Democrats are celebrating the one year anniversary of the bipartisan CHIPS and Science Act being signed into law. The CHIPS and Science Act is game-changing legislation that invests in America, creates good-paying union construction and manufacturing jobs, and ensures U.S. competitiveness with the Chinese Communist Party.

Thanks to Rep. Wild’s vote last year, the CHIPS and Science Act is:

  • Bringing semiconductor manufacturing back to the U.S. and reducing production delays.

  • Catalyzing regional economic growth across the nation.

  • Creating investments in STEM education and training from K-12 to community college, undergraduate and graduate education.

Rep. Wild is working tirelessly to create jobs, lower costs, and make sure the U.S. can compete with other countries.

DCCC spokesperson Aidan Johnson:
“While MAGA Republicans have attempted to stonewall economic growth in order to advance an extreme agenda, the one year anniversary of the CHIPS and Science Act is a powerful reminder that Rep. Wild and House Democrats remain focused on issues important to Pennsylvanians like cutting costs and creating jobs.”
