Miller-Meeks echoes Democrats’ promise to build back better even as she opposes Build Back Better Act which would directly help Iowa families
In case you missed it, Mariannette Miller-Meeks is lying to Iowans again. This weekend, as Miller-Meeks launched her re-election campaign she promised “we are going to build back better.”
The only problem? Miller-Meeks has stood staunchly opposed to Democrats’ Build Back Better Act to give a permanent tax cut to working families, expand Medicare to cover dental, vision and hearing aids for seniors, and lower health care costs for southeastern Iowans. And it’s no wonder what caused Miller-Meeks’ slip: polling shows a majority of voters support Democrats’ Build Back Better agenda.
