The IRA has created more than 334,000 jobs nationwide and lowered costs for millions of families since 2022
Two years ago, the Inflation Reduction Act was signed into law, and thanks to Chris Pappas’ leadership it included measures that are delivering for working families across the country by cutting costs, creating jobs, and investing in American manufacturing.
Capped prescription drug costs for Medicare recipients at $2,000 per year (starting in 2025). More than 18 million seniors will save an average of $400 a year, 1.8 million of which could save as much as $2,500 a year.
Kept the health care industry from raising costs for the 34,000 people in NH-01 who rely on the Affordable Care Act, saving them $640 per year.
Every single House Republican voted against this landmark legislation.
House Republicans have voted 42 times to repeal the job creating investments in the Inflation Reduction Act – but that hasn’t stopped their vulnerable members from trying to falselytake credit for the jobs and investments created from legislation passed by House Democrats.
DCCC Spokesperson Ellie Dougherty:
“Chris Pappas fought to pass this common sense legislation that continues to lower costs, create jobs, and grow the middle class – and that is why New Hampshire voters will re-elect Pappas in November.”
