California trust fund millionaire Paul Junge is trying to buy a seat in Congress, but is failing miserably at persuading mid-Michigan he deserves their vote.
Junge’s latest quarterly FEC report shows that he was once again outraised by Dan Kildee in Q3, attempting to prop up his lackluster campaign with a half-million dollar loan and tens of thousands of dollars in dirty money contributions from the DeVos family, Kevin McCarthy, and the NRA.
Junge’s campaign is being bankrolled by some of the most extreme voices in the Republican Party, making clear to Michigan voters that Paul Junge would be a puppet for their radical, far-right agenda in Congress.
DCCC Spokesperson Matt Corridoni
“No amount of money from Betsy DeVos, Kevin McCarthy, and the gun lobby will be able to prop up California trust fund millionaire Paul Junge. Junge would be a vote for National Republican leaders who want to privatize Social Security and allow drug companies to price gouge Michiganders. Junge will always put his special interest backers ahead of mid-Michigan families, and voters will reject his radical agenda this November.”
