IRVINE – Responding to the announcement that failed Justin Fareed will once again seek California’s 24th Congressional seat, DCCC spokesperson Drew Godinich released the following statement:
“After already fumbling the ball twice, you would think that Justin Fareed had finally learned his lesson: accepting hundreds of thousands in support from coal and oil companies – including those responsible for spills off our coast lines – and working to undermine a woman’s right to choose aren’t the values that families of California’s 24th District are looking for in their elected leaders. These values have already been roundly rejected by Central Coast voters.
“While Fareed might be waiting for his Washington Republican backers to ride in on a horse to save the day, the people of this community know Salud Carbajal’s record of defending our healthcare and fighting for good paying jobs.”
