PERRY’S PLAN: Central Pennsylvanians Pay More for Health Care

Congressman Scott Perry calls lowering health care costs “a colossal mistake”;
New poll shows nearly 80% of Americans disagree with Perry

Scott Perry has made his position crystal clear – even going so far as to put it in writing.

The Perry Plan? Central Pennsylvanians pay more for their health care.

Pennie officials have warned that under Perry’s Plan, Central Pennsylvanians are set to face “sticker shock,” as monthly premiums “could rise by 300% for some residents.”

With a price hike that steep, it’s no wonder that Perry’s Plan is deeply unpopular. Nearly 80 percent – yes, you read that right, 80 percent – of U.S. adults oppose Perry’s Plan and support extending these health care tax credits.

DCCC Spokesperson Eli Cousin:
“Scott Perry isn’t just on the wrong side of a nearly 80-20 issue – he’s the biggest cheerleader for the losing team. Under Perry’s Plan, Central Pennsylvanians pay more for their health care. That’s terrible policy and terrible politics – and it will be a major reason why Perry loses his seat next November.”
