More than seven months out from election day, Republicans keep getting crushed where it matters most. According to Politico, “Democrats captured crucial suburban swing House seats, continue to dominate the Albany statehouse and lap Republicans in statewide fundraising.”
Now their handpicked gubernatorial candidate, “MAGA all the way” Bruce Blakeman — who Republicans are counting on “to be a strong top of the ticket during a midterm election year that’s shaping up to be a tough one for them” — is getting outraised, outmatched, and trailing by double digits.
And Lawler? He’s all in.
Lawler proudly endorsed Blakeman last month, tying himself to a struggling, underfunded MAGA extremist who is already dragging down Republicans across the ballot.
