POLLING: Latino Approval of Trump and the Republican Party Has Tanked

“Today, over a third of his past [Latino] supporters say they are disappointed or regret their vote for him”

New polling shows the Trump approval rating with Latinos continues to tank amidst high everyday costs driven by the reckless Republican economic agenda. Across the country, Latinos believe the economy is in poor condition (68% negative), and only 14% think that Trump and Republicans are working to address it.

As Trump and House Republicans make life harder for hardworking families, Axios polling shows that, “nearly two in three Latinos say it’s a bad time to be Latino or Hispanic in the U.S.” The reported pessimism is at a record-level thanks to Republican efforts to make life entirely unaffordable.

DCCC Spokesperson Bridget Gonzalez:
“The Trump-led Republican administration has completely lost Latino voters, and rightfully so. Since day one, the administration has pushed an agenda that’s draining Americans’ wallets, and they’re tired of it. House Republicans have failed voters.”
