| The GOP-manufactured health care crisis is devastating hardworking families already struggling under Trump’s economy as notices on increased premiums will soon start hitting mailboxes.
Republicans refuse to address the concern of over 20 million Americans, instead resorting to lies. Without renewal of the tax credits, average premiums could increase 114% on average for everyday Americans, according to KFF.
In turn, Republicans have shut the government down.
According to a new poll from the Washington Post, an overwhelming majority of Americans – 71% – agree with Democrats and say the federal government should extend Affordable Care Act tax credits.
At the same time, a plurality of respondents blame Trump and Congressional Republicans for shutting down the government. This survey is just the latest in a long line of data proving voters are not buying Republicans’ lies.
